Crute is back from Michigan, and ready to tackle today’s Wisconsin political world. Specifically, he’s ready to tackle the Senate Republicans for firing even more of Governor Evers’ appointees. All of them are more than qualified (although maybe that’s why Republicans want to fire them), but they’re even going after Crute’s friends now!
You know who else needs to be tossed? Mr. Toxic Tom Tiffany himself. Whether it’s his wonderful handiwork here in the state Legislature, where he blocked the state DNR time and time again, or his current work in Washington DC doing the great work of the Republican party today. How’re they doing these days, by the way?
Finally, Wisconsin might finally be on it’s way to getting fair legislative maps. But what about the congressional maps? There’s a lawsuit looking to take those to task too, but as Bruce Murphey at Urban Milwaukee points out, it needs to happen sooner rather than later. With how tight the margins are in Washington, fair congressional maps in Wisconsin could be the deciding factor in global democracy.
