Dom’s in the Madison studio, and he and Crute have a gripe with Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers. Why is he calling Dean Phillips’ attempt to get on the ballot “ridiculous?” I suppose he get’s a pass today, he did veto the gerrymandered maps passed by the Republican legislature.
With the presidential primary in Nevada next week, Republicans are meeting ahead of the election to air their grievances. That’s supposed to be on Fridays! But frustrated Republicans, including some from right here in Wisconsin, are upset about how the party is struggling to raise money. Maybe they should try and stop being losers?
Democrats, meanwhile, are crushing the GOP fundraising. That’s not us saying that, it’s Bruce Murphey over at Urban Milwaukee! Republicans even changed the laws back in 2015, and by those own laws Democrats are burying Republicans in raising funds. As we on the Devil’s Advocates call it, that’s the Ben Wikler effect.
But does that make Democrats just as bad as Republicans? Is it really just corruption all the way down? Callers weigh in on the issue.
