When a New York jury found former President Donald Trump guilty last week on 34 felony counts, Senator Ron Johnson announced, “After this travesty of justice, our judicial system will never be the same. How can this not be considered the most egregious example of election interference?”
The American Civil Liberties Union of Wisconsin filed a federal lawsuit against the City of Milwaukee stating the city’s plans for demonstrations during the Republican National Convention violate the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
The Madison Police Department plans to send about 85 officers to Milwaukee this July to provide assistance during the Republican National Convention.
