Political billboards have cropped up across Milwaukee in the past months, and it’s just not President Joe Biden’s or former President Donald Trump’s campaigns behind the signs. The sponsors range from national political action committees to local Milwaukee businesses. So far, the billboards appear to be largely anti-Trump and anti-GOP.
The Heritage Foundation, the D.C.-based think tank that produced Project 2025 — a series of policy plans to overhaul the federal government — is among the sponsors of the convention in Milwaukee next week.
