Crute and Dom have returned to Wisconsin from their short trip to Michigan to hang out in the WAUK studios, as Michigan voters make their way to the polls for the presidential primary election. Crute got an interesting email from Trump today, encouraging him to vote in that election! Is that election fraud? Maybe if he offers him some sneakers…
But does Trump have this as tied up as he thinks he is? Liberals are certainly more critical of Biden than conservatives are of Trump, and he only won about 60% of the vote in South Carolina last weekend. If that 40% of South Carolina voters don’t turn out for Trump in November, will that be enough to hand the election to Biden?
Meanwhile, on the Dem side, there’s a push to embarrass the President, or maybe just to prove a point, to vote uncommitted instead of Biden in the primary today. The drive is largely coming Arab-Americans in Michigan who disapprove of the President’s handling of Gaza. Crute says that, if you’re going to throw a protest vote, do it now during the primary. It’s the perfect chance! It’s not like he’s actually going to lose Michigan today anyways, they just need to turn out in November.
