Joe Biden is back in Wisconsin today, hanging out with Governor Tony Evers and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz to talk bridges. The Blatnik Bridge, to be precise, connecting Superior to Duluth. It’s not an infrastructure week, it’s an infrastructure year.
Meanwhile, Wisconsin Republicans passed a doom bill to ban abortions after 14 weeks today. It’s going to get a veto from Evers, he’s said as much. Why the exercise in futility? Stupid politics, of course. It’s really the only thing they’re good for.
Peter Navarro is going to jail for defying a congressional subpoena on the investigation into January 6th. I wonder if Steve Bannon is looking for a roommate… Anyways, he’s complaining that he shouldn’t have to go to jail, because he never should have needed to testify to begin with! The protesters outside the courthouse certainly think that he should.
Finally, Dom has reason to celebrate today: Crute has finally stopped to his level and is lowering the state of the political discourse!
