Crute had an exciting weekend making bacon jam (and shares a bit of his recipe), and is very passionate that if someone’s going to enjoy his delectable bites, they better SAVOR it.
Biden, though, is advertising a major economic plan for the next decade, calling for expanded social programs and raised taxes on the rich. Eat the rich, Crute says! Yes, it is a mighty big budget, but we’d get free preschool, tax breaks for first time homebuyers, and more. How would we pay for it? Taxing the rich, of course. About time someone called for that…
But Biden can only control, at most, the next four years. And his budget looks to reduce the country’s debt by $2 trillion in a decade. When it’s an election year, Crute has to ask – why not put forward a reasonable, balanced budget that Republicans can’t cut to shreds?
