   I was hoping to see the audio in the archive but it doesn’t appear to be there yet. Pretty sure Sheriff Mahoney said that the 1300 plant bust started with a heroin investigation and ended with charges related to heroin. BOTH of these claims are 100% false and the main problem with that is Sheriff Mahoney seems to be so anxious to discredit marijuana that he wants to tie it to heroin however possible. Not a perfect analogy but kind of like 9-11 and Iraq – if you say it enough it doesn’t matter if its true. I’m not accusing the Sheriff of lying, he seems like a decent guy, but he definitely got his facts wrong on a program he was on to explain why he got his facts wrong on the Scott Walker conversation/non conversation about marijuana. Not very confidence inspiring.
