Crute and Dom are back in Madison after their trip to Dubuque, Iowa for the Iowa Caucuses, where the final results were just about what everyone expected. Trump blows everyone else out of the water, and even though DeSantis came in second, does it really matter? Who cares, how was the meatloaf?
The boys recount their tales of attending one of the caucuses yesterday, and Crute is calling it RIGGED!!! Okay not really, but the results were called before the team captains had completed their speeches in Dubuque. Was it rigged, or is that just what happens when Trump is the belle of the ball and takes so many votes so fast? Don’t worry, even Trump’s people think it’s rigged!
That doesn’t matter to people like Vivek Ramaswamy or Asa Hutchinson though, because they’re already out of the race. At least one of them has already backed Trump, I’ll let you guess which one.
At the end of the day, there is really just one question remaining. If Trump is found guilty, either in a civil case or of one of the many felonies he’s charged with, would that matter to Republicans, and would he still be the nominee? I mean, he’s back in court again today, and polling shows that GOP voters just don’t care, and that him being found guilty will only make them more likely to vote for him.
