Republicans are trying to hamstring Governor Tony Evers and limit his ability to veto bills. I guess they don’t like his work to fund schools for hundreds of years like he did last year… Either way, Republicans want Evers to slice into the woods forever and quit the game.
Crute is in a tequila mood as he gets ready for his trip to Las Vegas next week to cover the Nevada presidential primary. Dom, on the other hand, is also in a tequila mood. He doesn’t need to go to the Circus Circus to get in that kind of mood, so instead they look back at the time when they went to Nevada in 2016 to ask John Podesta about medical marijuana.
Paul Fanlund over at the Cap Times has some beef with the Wall Street Journal, after they called Evers a “radical” on the issue of abortion. Earnest, sure, but a radical? I’d say he’s a little too grandfatherly to really be a radical, especially because his views on abortion are not radical, but in line with the people of Wisconsin! It’s Republicans here in Wisconsin who are comparing pregnant women to animals.
Finally, Wisconsin’s best (Derrick Van Orden) is under fire after accusing Elizabeth Warren of having something like $75 million. The problem? She doesn’t have that much, and her height is not “U.S. Senator.” Maybe he was sharing some of Dom’s tequila when he tweeted that.
