Crute’s out to California for the week, which means that Dom is solo-Deviling on today’s news. And boy is there news: Governor Tony Evers has signed new legislative maps into law! But will that throw a wrench into the special election that will need to happen in Milwaukee? What about the potential Vos recall? Hard to say, but one thing we can say is that Wisconsin’s former gerrymandered-to-all-hell are gone, and Wisconsin is finally on the path to have fair representation.
Vos is calling it a win for Republicans! Ben Wikler is calling it a win for Democrats! Dom is calling it a win for Wisconsin and democracy. Would better maps be even better? Sure, but these will do for today. And Vos was going to be smarmy no matter what, so who cares what he has to say!
